SICILY. Selinos. Circa 540-515 BC. Didrachm (Silver, 20 mm, 9.00 g). Selinon leaf; to upper left and right, pellet; two more pellets flanking the stem. Rev. Incuse square divided into ten sections, four of which are raised. Arnold-Biucchi Group I, 4. HGC 2, 1209. Selinus Hoard 15. SNG ANS 665. SNG München 876. An exceptional, very sharply struck example with lovely toning. Extremely fine.
